Carlo Acutis was born on May 3, 1991, in London, England, to Italian parents Andrea Acutis and Antonia Salzano. His family was wealthy and devout, and from a young age, Carlo displayed a deep love for God.

Birth and Baptism

Carlo was born at the Portland Clinic in London. On May 18, 1991, he received the Sacrament of Baptism in Our Lady of Dolours Church. Just a few months after his birth, the Acutis family relocated to Milan, Italy.
