Anthony Mackie to Make His Debut as Captain America

Marvel Studios has announced that the fourth Captain America film, titled Captain America: New World Order, is set to hit theaters on May 3, 2024. The film will star Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, who takes on the mantle of Captain America after the events of Avengers: Endgame.

Harrison Ford to Join the Cast

Joining Mackie in the cast is Harrison Ford, who will play Thaddeus Ross, the former Secretary of State and current President of the United States. Ross has a long history with Captain America, having been both an ally and an adversary in the comics.

The film is directed by Julius Onah and written by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson. Plot details are currently under wraps, but the teaser trailer promises a thrilling and action-packed adventure.

Captain America: New World Order is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase 5, which also includes Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and The Marvels.
